Our Red sea pebble consists of onyx, agate and quartz pebbles. These pebbles are sourced from south-east Asia. Onyx is a banded variety of the oxide mineral chalcedony. Agate and onyx are both varieties of layered chalcedony that differ only in the form of the bands: agate has curved bands and onyx has parallel bands. The colours of its band range from white to almost every colour. Black Oynx which is contained in this mix, is often used in holistic healing, it is often attributed to being able to absorb negative energy…we generally use this product for garden design purposes but this is an added reason to use it in your next landscape project. The mix of pebbles in the red sea pebble is particularly stunning, the pebbles are nicely rounded and give off a really polished appearance. The red sea pebble is often used with Paradiso or Pandora Granite, the specific mix of colours make a striking contrast when used with this granite. An average UK Kerbsett would require 2 25kg bags of Red Sea pebble, a 25kg bag would cover approximately 1/4 a square metre to a 1.5″ depth. We offer this product in sample, 25kg, 250kg, 500kg and 1000kg. Please feel free to contact us for any additional information.
