What this granite bench is made of
The bench is made entirely from solid natural granite. The backrest is smooth and set at a slight angle, so it's comfortable to lean against. The seat runs in one continuous piece. Underneath, a solid base with a curved demi-bullnose edge softens the sharp, defined angles of the seat and back. It looks traditional, but it isn't fussy.

We strongly recommend professional installation. The bench weighs 200 kg and arrives in 4 pieces, and those pieces are heavy and awkward to lift. A tradesperson with the right equipment can position and assemble it safely on a level, firm base without risking injury or damage to the stone.
Will a granite bench last outdoors in Irish weather?
Yes. Granite naturally withstands harsh sun, rain, snow, ice, sleet and high winds. It also resists scratches, so it keeps its polished appearance with very little care. Unlike timber, it won't rot, warp or need a fresh coat of oil every spring.
How do I clean a polished granite bench?
An occasional surface clean is all it needs. Warm water and a soft brush or cloth will lift dirt, bird droppings and the green film that can build up under trees.
